The list of 1800 best universities according to MosIUR was announced
According to the Three University Missions Moscow International University Ranking 2022, KNRTU-KAI entered the world ranking within the 1201-1300 range and the 54-62 range among Russian universities.
The MosIUR includes universities from 103 countries, as well as 146 universities from Russia.
As in the past year, Russia closed the top three world leaders in the number of universities in the Three University Missions Ranking (146 Russian universities appeared in the ranking). According to the MosIUR, the best Russian universities are concentrated in Moscow (37 universities), St. Petersburg (13 universities), Tatarstan (6 universities), Tomsk and Tyumen regions (5 universities).
This year, the number of universities featured in the world ranking has increased to 1,800 from 1,650 with respect to the previous year.
In order to compile the MosIUR, objective criteria approved by international experts, as well as the information collected from the open data of the universities’ official websites, national authorities and independent international resources were actively used, and among them Clarivate publicly traded analytics company, Class Central online course aggregator, MOOC platforms "Open Education" (Russia) and icourse163.org (China), public multilingual universal encyclopedia "Wikipedia", search engines Google, Yandex, Baidu, social networks Facebook, Twitter, VK, Sina Weibo, Alexa Internet Inc., websites of international student Olympiads; IREG List of International Academic Awards.
